I plan on printing out a 1u rack mount unit for the Dell mini PC that I&#8217;m replacing my giant 4u virtual host with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll be using this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.printables.com\/model\/644173-dell-micro-1u-rack-mount\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mount from Printables<\/a>. Below is a full parts list, though I&#8217;ll be skipping a few steps (the back plates and screws for them).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 x PC mounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 x backplates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 x M4x60 screws to assemble the sides<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 x M4x12 screws to attach the back plates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The mount is printed in 4 pieces technically, though I&#8217;ll just be using two of them. The four pieces are the two PC mounts, and then two backplates to hold them in. They can also be put back in later if you want to pull it out of the rack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I printed it in PLA with a 0.2mm layer height and 10% infill.
